“We live in a world where there is an ongoing
war against the Jews.”
You must think I’m at it again, using sarcasm to
illustrate an inversion of reality. But it wasn’t me
who made that statement. That was actually a quote by
Rupert Murdoch; from a speech he delivered Wednesday
night, at the annual Anti-Defamation League banquet in
New York City.
You remember who Rupert Murdoch is, right? He’s
the Australian born, multi-billionaire media magnate
who’s niched out a pretty comfortable life for
himself—here in the colonies—at the expense of a
gullible American audience.
If you still can’t remember know who he is, maybe
this short list of his assets will jar your memory:
The Wall Street Journal
Twentieth Century Fox
The New York Post
News of the World
The Times
Dow Jones & Company
Oh, and let’s not forget about Fox News,
that beacon of truth in an otherwise dark world of
lies propagated by the Islamic run, mainstream
media.
But I know, you’re going to tell me that Fox News
has also become a casualty to radical Islamic
extremists, as evidenced by a Saudi Prince who
recently acquired a controlling interest in the
aforementioned broadcast giant, right?
If that’s true, then I’ve got to admit that the
boys and girls at the ADL are being pretty good sports
about it, especially in light of the fact that they
made Murdoch this year’s most honorable honoree.
Maybe Murdoch had a few too many drinks Wednesday
night. I’m sure he’s regretting it now. He no doubt
received a phone call on Thursday morning from his
boss, Prince Al-Waleed bin Tala, to chastise him for
making incendiary comments about his greatest ally in
the Midlle East.
“Israel becomes increasingly ostracized, while
Iran – a nation that has made no secret of wishing
Israel’s destruction – pursues nuclear weapons loudly,
proudly, and without apparent fear of rebuke.”
My, God! What was Murdoch thinking? How could he
insult a nation, whose leader regularly noshes on
Falafels with the Saudi Prince, while watching the
lunchtime head rollings in downtown Mecca?
Murdoch has a lot of explaining to do, and I’m sure
his departure from the jihadist agenda he was directed
to carry out will be brought up at the next
shareholders meeting.
You know, we can all laugh at the ridiculous
picture I’ve just painted. But there is nothing funny
about the fact that there are probably thousands, if
not millions, of Americans who don’t get the joke.
I almost hate to get serious—just when I’m starting
to have fun—but I suppose I have to let some of you in
on the joke. Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Tala
would love to bring an end to Iran. He’d like nothing
better than to be the only game in town for the
Islamic community to run to. Saudi Arabia is an
American ally and predominantly Sunni. Iran is
predominantly Shiite and a Western enemy. The rivalry
between Saudi Arabia and Iran is comparable to the
rivalry between the Catholics and Protestants in
Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has no
problem being used as the scapegoat to exemplify
“so-called” Islamic atrocities, because it knows that
its American political and commercial allies will
always protect it.
I have to laugh. Otherwise, I will go insane.
Each day I’m treated to new absurdities that test my
ability to maintain a semblance of composure. I try
to take a serious approach to my amateur journalism,
but I just can’t overlook the comedy. Some things are
just too hilarious to overlook. Let’s all have a
gut-busting laugh together, as I throw out this line
once again:
“We live in a world where there is an ongoing
war against the Jews.”
I’ve just evacuated the last of my chocolate milk
through my nostrils. I’m now using a dirty sock to
clean the moisture off my keyboard.
I’m almost tempted to say it again. O.K., why not…
“We live in a world where there is an ongoing
war against the Jews.”
I used to think that Mel Brooks was my favorite
comedian, but Murdoch has now put him to shame.
I only wish I had been invited to that banquet. I
love good stand-up. Who else was there? Jackie
Mason? Jerry Seinfeld? Larry David? Howard Stern?
Adam Sandler? Jon Stewart? I guess I’ll have to
wait until this airs on Comedy Central to know for
sure.
In all seriousness though…wait…I just can’t help
it. I’m sure you’ve got one more chuckle left inside
you. Let’s do it again…
“We live in a world where there is an ongoing
war against the Jews.”
Come on! That’s a gut buster!
All right, enough. Let’s get down to business.
Murdoch is a freakin’ liar. We’ve all known that
for some time. But here’s where he literally goes off
the deep end. During Wednesday night’s hate-fest, the
geriatric towel boy for the Israeli bathhouse actually
suggested that the first phase of the war on the Jews
had been “conventional in nature,” with the
goal “to use military force to overrun Israel.”
I suppose he's talking about the 1967 Six-Day
War. Everyone knows that the victors of military
conflicts are the same ones who write the history
books. Apparently, Murdoch is reading from one of
these texts, that paints Israel as the innocent victim
of Arab aggression.
In reality, the supressed history conclusively
proves Israel to be the aggressor.
In a 1997 article from the Boston Globe,
conversations held in 1976 quote Israel's Ex-defense
chief, Moshe Dayan saying that kibbutz leaders from
Galilee persuaded the Prime Minister at the time, Levi
Eshkol, to attack the Golan on the
fourth day of the 1967 Six-Day War because they wanted
the land.
"They thought about the land of the Golan. I
know what went on. I saw them and I spoke with them.
They didn't even try to hide their lust for that soil.
That's what guided them." According to Dayan,
"Eighty percent of the incidents worked like this: We
would send tractors to plow in an area of little use,
in a demilitarized zone, knowing ahead of time that
the Syrians would shoot. If they didn't start
shooting, we would tell the tractors to advance until
the Syrians would get aggravated and start shooting.
We used artillery and later the air force became
involved."
Other corroborating evidence can be found in a New
York Times article from 1982, which quotes former
cabinet minister Menachem Begin from an address given
to Israel's National Defence College.
"In June 1967, we again had a choice. The
Egyptian army concentrations in the Sinai did not
prove Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be
honest with our selves. We decided to attack him".
The only "military force" used to "overrun"
anybody is that which has been deployed by Israel
against the people of Palestine. That's been going
on since Israel began its occupation in 1948, and has
been responsible for the displacement of millions of
Palestinians from their ancestral homes into a crowded
ghetto on the West Bank and abroad.
Murdoch then claims that phase two of the war on
the Jews was “terrorism,” that targets Jews
both at home and abroad— “from the massacre of
Israeli athletes at Munich to the second intifada.”
He noted that the terrorists “continue to target
Jews across the world.”
Don’t you just love that word 'terrorism?' It’s
such a psychologically effective tool to manipulate
the minds of the English speaking public. Terror is
synonymous with evil, and is therefore equated to the
work of the devil. If you allow yourself to digest
this word into your lexicon, you will find it
difficult to extend any human compassion to those who
you consider 'demons' who dwell in the 'otherworldly
regions' of a mythical, spiritual world.
In the real world, there is no terrorism. The real
world definition of terrorism is 'revenge.' These
'demons' are actually real people who have lost their
children, parents, neighbors and best friends to
paranoid wars of Jewish survival. It is Newton’s
third law incarnate: For every action, there is an
equal and opposite reaction.
If you want to stop 'vengeance,' stop inflicting
injuries that incite retaliation. It’s a pretty
simple formula for peace.
Now here’s a gem that I couldn’t wait to get to.
Rupert (‘cause I’m kind of tired of calling him
Murdoch) says that the newest phase of this war on the
Jews is being waged by mainstream heavy weights.
According to the New York Sun:
“The new phase of the war is what Mr. Murdoch
called “the soft war that seeks to isolate Israel
by delegitimizing it.” It’s a war in which, he
said, “[t]he battleground is everywhere,”
such as the press and broadcasting, multinational
organizations and non-governmental organizations. The
aim is the same, “to make Israel a pariah.”
You don't need to "delegitimize" something
that was illegitimate from the beginning.
Israel claims that its legitimacy was endorsed by
the Balfour Declaration of 1914 and the UN General
Assemblies partition plan resolution of 1947.
But Britain had no right to promise land that was
not theirs. At the time, Palestine was controlled by
Ottoman Turkey. All that the Balfour Declaration did
was allow the Zionists, who sought to control that
region, claim that they had been recognized by a major
power.
The UN General Assembly also had no right to
promise a portion of land to the Zionists without the
consent of a majority of the Palestinian people. But
they went ahead and passed a resolution anyway, which
effectively partitioned Palestine into one Arab and
one Jewish State. However, this resolution never
reached the Security Council for final approval.
The resolution became invalid, and discussion
about what to do next was again brought before the
General Assembly. It was during this time that Israel
got tired of waiting and simply declared itself into
existence, in defiance of the international community
and over the objections of the people of Palestine.
Murdoch's claim that the press and broadcasting
community is engaged in a "soft war" against Jews is
laughable on its face. Just ask the longtime White
House reporter Helen Thomas what happens when you dare
to say "boo" to Israel.
If you want a mainstream example of a "hard
war," waged by the press and broadcasting community
against an entire people, you need look no further
than Murdoch's Fox News. And you don’t have to look
that far back. In fact, you can almost daily find
hateful rhetoric being propagated by their racist
pundits.
Just yesterday, Bill O’Reilly made an appearance on
The View. When the topic of the proposed Mosque
(actually a community center) near Ground Zero came
up, O’Reilly spared no time declaring, “The
Muslims killed us on 9/11!” To their credit,
Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed out of the room
while the audience gasped.
Do you think these conscientious women will now be
labeled as Anti-Semites? I wouldn’t be surprised. It
doesn’t take too much to be accused of Anti-Semitism
these days.
If you’re a Gentile who patronizes a Jewish Deli,
and you send back a corn beefed sandwich because it
has too much mustard…guess what? You’re an
Anti-Semite!
In reality, there is no ongoing war against the
Jews. This is a complete fiction. The ongoing war
that is being waged right now is against the Islamic
people. This war is being waged in the pages of the
print media, across the radio dials, on millions of
television sets, on thousands of movie screens, on the
floor of the House and Senate, and on three
battlefronts throughout the Middle East.
