The 06 December, the sad anniversary of demolition of historic Babri Mosque
belonging to Muslims, is one of the most important Black Days for India, its
Constitution and its cherished democratic and secular values. Interestingly,
Not only BJP and its Hindutva allies but even so-called secular parties like
Congress party with its hidden nexus with Hindutva RSS also do not stress the
importance of secularism for the unity of Indian nation. They have common
agenda- anti-Islamism. But in targeting Muslims and Mosques, the BJP has the
Hindu vote bank agenda.
Like
cricket matches, even anti-Islamism is also efforts by most major and minor
parties of the country. No leader talks about keeping the word given by Indian
government to Indians and international community on rebuilding the historic
Babri Mosque. That is unfortunate and indeed a very sad commentary not just on
democracy and Indian secularism but, worse, the image of Indian state about
its promises to the world.
Indian rulers, political leaders, media lords, and even judges seem to
collectively hate India and its people and they promote everything that goes
against secularism and genuine democracy by operating to promote their
religion and impose it on others, jointly destroy Islamic monuments and
mosques and defend the Hindu militant criminals.
That is the fate of India.
India got freedom from Great Britain on a midnight and maybe therefore it
decided to shamelessly throw out the Imam and other Muslims from the Babri
mosque on a midnight and later Indian government of Nehru shut the doors of
the historic mosque for regular prayers by Muslims in a way as to show its
power to the hapless Muslims of India. Hindus claim full ownership of
independent India which actually belongs to all its citizens.
In fact, ruling Hindu fanaticism began
along with regaining its sovereignty.
On December 06 ghastly destruction of historic Babri Mosque sponsored by
BJP-VHP-RSS and backed by Indian state and regime, among other anti-Islamic
elements, will complete 24 long years but so far Indian government and
judiciary do not seem interested in delivery the judgment because the mosque
belongs to Muslims and Hindu criminals must undergo punishments.
The Babri Masjid (Mosque of Babur), was a mosque in Ayodhya, India. Located in
Faizabad district, it was one of the largest mosques in the Uttar Pradesh
state. According to the mosque's inscriptions, it was built in 1528–29 CE (935
AH) by Mir Baqi, on orders of the Mughal emperor Babur (after whom it is
named). Since then Babri Mosque had been a glittering symbol of unity until
India became free, though some organized fanatic Hindus claimed there should
not be a mosque at Ayodhya where hero of epic novel Ramayana was supposedly
born and died as a king. There were sporadic attacks on the Mosque. Starting
in the 19th century, there were several conflicts and even court disputes
between Hindus and Muslims over the mosque.
On December 6, 1992, a large organized crowd of fanatic Hindu criminals called
Kar Sevaks, who, backed by Indian regime and Intelligence-media lords, were
committed to destroy the Historic Babri mosque demolished the 16th-century
Babri Mosque in the city of Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh. These Hindu criminal
elements and the backing of Indian government then run by the Congress party.
The demolition occurred after a political rally at the site turned violent as
their plan.
According to a
section of extremely fanatic Hindus who sought to disrupt national unity, the
Mughal rulers destroyed a Hindu structure marking the Ram Janmabhoomi,
birthplace of Rama, hero of epic novel Ramayana to build the mosque, a claim
denied by the Muslims. The political, historical and socio-religious debate
over the destruction of Babri Mosque and history of the site and whether a
previous temple was demolished or modified to create it, is known as the
Ayodhya dispute.
Some people
treat the dreams as real happening while others consider stories as real
happening. For political poll purposes, Hindutva leaders claim Ram, the
protagonist of Ramayana to be their god. Dreams are In Hindu mythological epic
novel Ramayana, written by Valmiki, the town of Ayodhya was the birthplace of
the Godly-king Rama. In the 16th century a Mughal general had built a mosque,
known as the Babri Masjid, but the fanatic anti-Islam Hindus say the site was
Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Rama.
Specialty of Babri Mosque
Mosques, no matter where they are
constructed and by whom they are built and carved, are dedicated to God the
Almighty. Once built, Mosques belong to Muslims who worship the God-Allah and
people belonging to other religions or atheists who are officially Muslims
cannot share that privilege.
Mosques of olden days are very beautiful and architecturally high qualitative,
splendidly charming as those still exist reveal. Mosques all over India were
built in different styles; the most elegant styles developed in areas where
indigenous art traditions were strong and local artisans were highly skilled.
The engineers who built mosque in early times sued Hindu temple motives that
mislead the fanatic Hindus to view Mosques as being old temples. Fools, they
claim mosques that were contracted by Hindu or Muslim engineers basing on
Hindu motives now. Thus regional or provincial styles of mosques grew out of
local temple or domestic styles, which were conditioned in their turn by
climate, terrain, materials, hence the enormous difference between the mosques
of Bengal, Kashmir and Gujarat.
The rulers of the Delhi Sultanate and
their successors, the Mughal, were great patrons of art and architecture and
constructed many fine tombs, mosques and madrasas. These have a distinctive
style which bears influences of ''later Tughlaq'' architecture. The Babri
Mosque followed the architectural school of Jaunpur Sultanate. When viewed
from the west side, it resembled the Atala Masjid in Jaunpur. The architecture
of the Babri Mosque is therefore completely a replica of the mosques in the
Delhi Sultanate.
Babri Mosque
was an important mosque of a distinct style, preserved mainly in architecture,
developed after the Delhi Sultanate was established Babri Mosque in the
Southern suburb of the walled city of Gaur, and the Jamali Kamili Mosque built
by Sher Shah Suri. This was the forerunner of the Indo Islamic style adopted
by Emperor Akbar who loved both Islam and Hinduism and sought their unity.
Modern architects have attributed this
intriguing acoustic feature to a large recess in the wall of the Mihrab and
several recesses in the surrounding walls which functioned as resonators; this
design helped everyone to hear the speaker at the Mihrab. The sandstone used
in building the Babri Mosque also had resonant qualities which contributed to
the unique acoustics.
The Babri mosque's Tughluquid style integrated other design components and
techniques, such as air cooling systems disguised as Islamic architectural
elements like arches, vaults and domes. In the Babri Masjid a passive
environmental control system comprised the high ceiling, domes, and six large
grille windows. The system helped keep the interior cool by allowing natural
ventilation as well as daylight.
The criminal Hindus destroyed along with
Babri Mosque the unique architecture of India as well in the name of Hindu
vote bank.
State project executed by RSS criminals
My previous articles on the subject have dealt with the question of regime-RSS
conspiracy behind the destruction of historic Babri Mosque as the secret
operation to erase the historic Babri Mosque, eventually culminating in the
very act of arson and criminal operation at Ayodhya at Babri Mosque on 06 Dec,
1992.
A 2005 book by the former Intelligence Bureau (IB) Joint Director Maloy
Krishna Dhar claimed the senior leaders of RSS, BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal had
planned the demolition 10 months in advance. He also suggested that the Indian
National Congress leaders, including prime minister P V Narasimha Rao and home
minister S B Chavan, had played with warnings about the demolition for
deriving political benefits.
The leaders of Congress government wanted exactly the destruction of the
Mosque and the Babri Mosque fell to Hindu militants. .
.
On 6 December 1992, the RSS and its affiliates organised a rally of over
150,000 VHP and BJP Hindutva militant criminals called the kar sevaks at the
site of the mosque. The ceremonies included speeches by BJP leaders such as
Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti. During the first few hours of the
rally, the crowd grew gradually more restless, and began raising militant
slogans. As a mere formality a police cordon had been placed around the mosque
in preparation for the Hindutva attack. However, around noon, some young men
was allowed to slip past the cordon and climb the mosque itself, brandishing a
saffron flag as per the plan by Advani gang. This was seen as a signal by the
mob, who then stormed the historic Mosque. The mob set upon the building with
axes, hammers, and grappling hooks, and within a few hours, the entire mosque
was leveled. Hindus also destroyed numerous other mosques within the town. The
police cordon, vastly outnumbered and unprepared for the size of the attack,
fled, leaving the site exclusively to Hindutva criminal elements. .
Muslims were banned entry only Hindus were allowed to enter the Mosque. That
is the new free India.
Congress
government and BJP were linked with each other directly and through the RSS
and apparently they planned the destruction of the mosque and rehearsed the
parts each would play. Congress party kept the Muslims members in dark about
the conspiracy.
A 2009 report,
authored by Justice Manmohan Singh Liberhan, found 68 people, among thousands,
to be responsible for the demolition of the Masjid, mostly leaders from the
BJP. Among those named were Vajpayee, Advani, Joshi and Vijay Raje Scindia.
Kalyan Singh, who was then the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, also faced
severe criticism in the report. Liberhan wrote that he posted bureaucrats and
police officers to Ayodhya, whose record indicated that they would stay silent
during the mosque's demolition. Anju Gupta, a police officer who had been in
charge of Advani's security on that day, stated that Advani and Murli Joshi
made speeches that contributed, rather encouraged to provoking the misbehavior
of the mob. The report notes that at this time no appeal was made to the Kar
Sevaks not to enter the sanctum sanctorum or not to demolish the structure.
BJP wanted to remove the Mosque. The report notes: ''This selected act of the
leaders itself speaks of the hidden intentions of one and all being to
accomplish demolition of the disputed structure.'' The report holds that the
''icons of the movement present that day could just as easily have prevented
the demolition but they did not
The demolition of the Babri Masjid on 6
December 1992 by militant triggered riots all over India, leading to around
2,000 deaths of Muslims- one of the goals of Hindu rulers of post-Independent
India in reducing Muslim population by all means.
Babri Mosque was demolished by Hindu
criminals because that was the pet project of Indian government which
dutifully promotes and helped Hindu organizations like RSS and its political
outfits like Jana Sangh-BJP to target Muslims of India. With state backing in
the 1980s, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and BJP began a campaign for the
construction of a Rama temple by demolishing hysteric Babri mosque in order to
save image of Hinduism. , the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) became the
political voice of demolition of the Mosque. RSS in coordination with the
Indian s government officals, and politicians planned well in advice for the
destruction of Babri mosque. Several rallies and marches were held as a part
of this movement, including the Ram Rath Yatra led by L. K. Advani.
Following the success of epic stories ''Ramayana'' and ''Mahabharata'',
telecast through central government TV channel sponsored by Indian government
agencies to mobilize Hindus to the cause of destruction of Babri Mosque, an
important milestone in Islam in India. BJP leader L. K. Advani who became
Indian Deputy PM by using his experience in pulling down Babri Mosque
surrounded by RSS criminal elements, began a Rath Yatra to Ayodhya In
September 1990, L. K. Advani began a Rath Yatra to Ayodhya in support of the
Hindu nationalist movement. Advani was arrested by the government of Bihar
before he could reach Ayodhya. Despite this, a large body of kar sevaks or
Sangh Parivar activists reached Ayodhya and attempted to attack the mosque.
This resulted in a pitched battle with the paramilitary forces that ended with
the death of several kar sevaks.
PM V. P. Singh took serious view of the
BJP plan to destroy Babri mosque and arrested LK Advani, leading to arsons by
the BJP across India. Congress party did not support VP Singh in dealing with
BJP's vulture culture. The BJP withdrew its support to the V. P. Singh
ministry at the centre, necessitating fresh elections. The BJP misused Hindu
identity and used the false criminalized Hindutva plank to substantially
increase its tally in the union parliament, as well as winning a majority in
the Uttar Pradesh assembly.
On 6 December 1992 the VHP and the BJP organized a rally at the site involving
150,000 criminal volunteers, known as kar sevaks. The media said the Hindutva
rally turned violent, and the crowd ''overwhelmed'' security forces and tore
down the mosque. A subsequent inquiry into the incident found 68 people
responsible for the demolition, including several leaders of the BJP and the
VHP. None was punished, however, maybe because of state interference.
In fact, the Kar Sevaks destroyed the
Mosque and left the site but Indian army and police began readying a make
shift temple at the site. So the original idea of demotion of Babri mosque in
fact beings to Indian regime/state but they found RSS/BJP'VHP to execute the
anti-Islamic project.
Having
successfully demolished the Hindu crooks now wants a Hindu structure on the
site possibly to replace Islam with Hindutvaism.
On 16 December 1992, the Union home
ministry set up the Liberhan Commission to investigate the destruction of the
Mosque, headed by retired High Court Judge M. S. Liberhan. Totaling 399
sittings over the span of sixteen years, the Commission finally submitted its
1,029-page report to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on June 30, 2009. According
to the report, the events of December 6, 1992, in Ayodhya were ''neither
spontaneous nor unplanned''. In March 2015, the Supreme Court of India
admitted a petition alleging that, with a BJP government in power, the CBI
would not pursue conspiracy charges against senior BJP leaders like L. K.
Advani and Rajnath Singh. The Court asked the CBI to explain its delay in
filing an appeal.
The
governments of several neighbouring countries criticised the Government of
India for failing to stop the demolition and the subsequent communal violence.
On February 7, 2013, the VHP's steering committee meeting at the Kumbh Mela in
Allahabad passed a resolution on the construction of a Ram temple on the ruins
of the Babri Masjid which the parivar demolished 20 years ago on December 6,
1992. VHP sources admitted that the agenda was political and was drawn up with
the 2014 elections in mind and the possibility that the recycled Ayodhya card
might help the BJP in the Hindu belt and the west. They also said the
blueprint was firmed up in conjunction with the RSS.'' One of the reasons for
the meeting on January 31 was to ''prop up a 'Hindutva' context for Narendra
Modi's prospective projection nationally''.
After the demolitionThe demo
n, as expected, resulted in several
months of intercommunal rioting between India's Hindu and Muslim communities,
causing the death of at least 2,000 people-mostly Muslims, major minority in
India.
The country was rocked
by communal riots immediately following demolition of the mosque, between
Hindus and Muslims in which more than 2,000 people died. In Bombay Riots,
around 900 people died. The riots extended to Bangladesh, where hundreds of
shops, homes and temples of Hindus were destroyed. Many terror attacks by
banned jihadi outfits like Indian Mujahideen cited demolition of Babri Mosque
as an excuse for terrorist attacks.
The Liberhan Commission set up as a mere formality to fool Indian Muslims and
world at large by the Government of India to investigate the demolition blamed
68 people including senior BJP, RSS and VHP leaders for the demolition. Among
those criticized in the report were AB Vajpayee, the BJP party's chief LK
Advani, and chief minister Kalyan Singh.
In 2003, by the order of an Indian Court, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
was asked to conduct a more in-depth study and an excavation to ascertain the
type of structure that was beneath the rubble. The excavation was conducted
from 12 March 2003 to 7 August 2003, resulting in 1360 discoveries. The ASI
operated in close contact with the government agencies that promoted Hindutva
as well as RSS/BJP leaders finally submitted its report to the Allahabad high
court in support of Hindutva and opposing Muslim claims so that militant
Hindus who planned the destruction and pulled down the historic Babri mosque
as Indian duty, are safe and to punished. All were released and LK Advani
became deputy PM of India. All criminal Hindus have one criminal code.
Judiciary apparently has no power to punish them.
The summary of the ASI report, apparently prepared according to the wishes of
RSS ''specialists'', indicated the presence of a 10th-century temple structure
under the mosque. This make believe story is the proof for a pro-Hindutva
verdict. According to the ASI team, the human activity at the site dates back
to the 13th century BCE. The report concluded that it was over the top of this
construction that the disputed Mosque ''structure'' was constructed during the
early 16th century.
These RSS
specialists argue that the historic world monument Taj Mahal in Agra was also
a temple built by a Hindu king and not by Muslim emperor Shah Jehan. That is
scientific madness of fanatic Hindutva.
But the Allahabad judges seem to worship it.
Weak Muslim groups immediately disputed the ASI findings. The Safdar Hashmi
Memorial Trust (Sahmat) criticised the report saying that it said that
''presence of animal bones throughout as well as of the use of 'surkhi' and
lime mortar'' that was found by ASI are all characteristic of Muslim presence
''that rule out the possibility of a Hindu temple having been there beneath
the mosque.'' The report claimed otherwise on the basis of 'pillar bases' was
contested since no pillars were found, and the alleged existence of 'pillar
bases' has been debated by archaeologists. Syed Rabe Hasan Nadvi, chairman of
the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) alleged that ASI failed to
mention any evidence of a temple in its interim reports and only revealed it
in the final report which was submitted during a time of national tension,
making the report highly suspect.
How can Hindutva falsehood be the
court judgment?
The destruction of the Babri Mosque (as well as the destruction of numerous
others that day), as part of India's greatest Black Day marking end of secular
democracy in the country, sparked Muslim outrage around the country, leading
to several months of inter-communal rioting in which Hindus and Muslims
attacked one another, burning and looting homes, shops and places of worship.
Several of the BJP leaders were taken into custody, and the VHP was briefly
banned by the government. Despite this, the ensuing riots spread to cities
like Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Delhi, Bhopal and several others,
eventually resulting in over 2000 deaths, mainly Muslim. The Mumbai Riotsalone,
which occurred in December 1992 and January 1993 and which the Shiv Sena
played a big part in organizing, caused the death of around 900 people, and
estimated property damage of around ?9,000 crore ($3.6 billion). The
demolition and the ensuing riots were among the major factors behind the 1993
Mumbai bombings and many successive riots in the coming decade.[20] Jihadi
outfits like the Indian Mujahideen cited the demolition of the Babri Mosque as
a reason for their terrorist attacks.
The Allahabad High Court, however,
upheld the ASI's findings as the base for the false 2010 court verdict.A land
title case on the site was lodged in the Allahabad High Court, the verdict of
which was pronounced on 30 September 2010. In their verdict, the three judges
of The Allahabad High Court ruled that the 2.77 acres (1.12 ha) of Ayodhya
land be divided into 3 parts, with 1/3 going to the Ram Lalla or Infant Lord
Rama represented by the Hindu Maha Sabha for the construction of the Ram
temple, 1/3 going to the Islamic Sunni Waqf Board and the remaining 1/3 going
to a Hindu religious denomination Nirmohi Akhara. While the three-judge bench
was not unanimous that the disputed structure was constructed after demolition
of a temple, it did agree that a temple or a temple structure predated the
mosque at the same site.[39] The excavations by the Archaeological Survey of
India were heavily used as evidence by the court that the predating structure
was a massive Hindu religious building Communal Clashes
Construction
The inscriptions in the Babri Masjid premises state that the mosque was built
in 935 AH (1528–29 CE) by Mir Baqi in accordance with the wishes of Babur.
However, some historians have argued that it was built during the Delhi
Sultanate period (13th-15th century), and may have been renovated during
Babur's period. R. Nath has stated that, judging from the architecture of the
mosque, it should be taken to have been built in the pre-Mughal period.
According to an early 20th-century text by Maulvi Abdul Ghaffar and the
surrounding historial sources examined by historian Harsh Narain, the young
Babur came from Kabul to Awadh (Ayodhya) in disguise, dressed as a Qalandar
(Sufi ascetic), probably as part of a fact-finding mission. Here he met the
Sufi saints Shah Jalal and Sayyid Musa Ashiqan and took a pledge in return for
their blessings for conquering Hindustan. The pledge is not spelled out in the
1981 edition of Ghaffar's book. Lala Sita Ram, who had access to the older
edition in 1932 wrote, ''The faqirs answered that they would bless him if he
promised to build a mosque after demolishing the Janmasthan temple. Babur
accepted the faqirs' offer and returned to his homeland.''
While the inscription states that it was built on orders of Babur in 1528,
there are no other records of the mosque from this period.
The first known report of a mosque
appears in a book Sahifa-I-Chihil Nasaih Bahadur Shahi, said to have been
written by a daughter of the emperor Bahadur Shah I (and granddaughter of
Aurangzeb) in the early 18th century. The Hindu fanatics have conveniently
confused the hero of ancient epic Ramayana Rama with real life. The earliest
extant account of the mosque's connection to birthplace of Rama comes from the
European Jesuit missionary Joseph Tiefenthaler, who visited the site during
1766–71. Johann Bernoullitranslated his account from French, and included it
in his 1788 work.
Hindu
fanatics in tourist spots and historic sites pretending to be the tourist
guides all over India tell the visitors false stories to present Muslims and
Muslim rulers as bad fellow and Hindus and Hindu rulers being the greatest
ones. According to this account, Aurangazeb or Babur had demolished the Ramkot
fortress, including the house that was considered as the birthplace of god
Rama by Hindus. Can gods be born as well? In 1838, British surveyor Montgomery
Martin wrote that the pillars in the mosque were taken from a Hindu temple. A
section of historians, such as R. S. Sharma, deny this, and state that such
claims of temple demolition sprang up only after the 18th century.
Apart from Hindus, Jains and Buddhists have also claimed the Babri Mosque
site. According to Jain Samata Vahini, the mosque was built over a 6th-century
Jain temple. Similarly, Udit Raj's Buddha Education Foundation has claimed the
mosque was built over a Buddhist shrine. Hindus say Babri Mosque was built
over a temple of hero Rama. In India many temples have come up to worship film
stars.
Conspiracy: Demotion of
Indian secularism, attack on India Constitution
Since Indian state panned for the demolition of Babri Mosque, there is nothing
Indian Muslims who struggle for a livelihood could have done to save the
Mosque. Hindutva elements seeking power in central and state governments but
could not get it began spreading Hindu venom among people and pestering the
Nehru government to destroy the Babri Mosque. In December 1949, the Hindu
organization Akhil Bharatiya Ramayana Mahasabha organized a non-stop 9-day
recitation of the Ramacharitamanas just outside the mosque. At the end of this
event, on the night of 22–23 December 1949, a group of 50–60 people entered
the mosque and placed idols of Rama and Sita there. On the morning of 23
December, the event organizers announced over loudspeakers that the idols had
appeared ''miraculously'', and exhorted Hindu devotees to come to the mosque
for a 'darshan'. As thousands of Hindus started visiting the place, the
Government quickly declared the mosque a disputed area as a prelude to a legal
dispute and locked the gates of Babri Mosque
Indian regime began acting very shrewdly towards destroying Babri mosque in a
concealed manner by employing fanatic Hindu elements. Home Minister
Vallabhbhai Patel, a proponent of Hindutva in Congress party and PM Jawaharlal
Nehru directed the UP Chief Minister Govind Ballabh Pant and Uttar Pradesh
Home Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri to get the idols removed from the mosque
premises. Pant issued orders to remove the idols, but under tremendous
pressure tactics of RSS elements very close to the Nehru government,
Faizabad's deputy commissioner K. K. Nayar refused to obey the order just by
saying that he would not hurt Hindu sentiments as the Hindus would also
retaliate.
On 16 January 1950,
Gopal Singh Visharad filed a civil suit in the Faizabad Court, asking that
Hindus be allowed to worship in the mosque Rama and his wife Sita whom he
deserted in the forest. Idols were illegally placed inside the Mosque. In
1959, the Nirmohi Akhara filed another lawsuit demanding possession of the
mosque. On 18 December 1961, the Sunni Central Wqaf Board also filed a
lawsuit, demanding legal possession of the site and removal of idols from the
mosque premises.
These fanatics
Hindus wanted the Mosque removed from Ayodhya and Indian government backed
that.
Gradually, under
protection and promotion by the governments and state Hindutva parties wanted
to spoil Indian polity, poison Indian minds with divisive thoughts and fanatic
ideas.
The takeover of the
Babri Masjid on the night of December 22-23, 1949, was but a subplot for both
RSS and Indian state. The idol of hero Ram ''magically appeared'' inside Babri
Mosque as Indian and UP governments helped the fanatic criminal elements to
commit crimes inside the Mosque, while Muslims were denied permission enters
their mosque. ''Lord'' LK Advani has systematically spread the tale that no
prayers were said at the mosque for years.
The testimony of the Babri Masjid's last Assistant Imam (Muezzin), Muhammad
Ismail, was recorded who put up a fierce resistance to the midnight Hindu
intruders who had scaled the walls and were to plant the idol. Muhammad Ismail
was beaten up and forced to flee and he spent the remaining years of his life
as a muezzin in a mosque in Paharganj Ghosania on the outskirts of Faizabad.
Governments continued to support the midnight criminals.
Later, in a 2005 March book, former Intelligence Bureau (IB) Joint Director,
Maloy Krishna Dhar claimed that Babri mosque demolition was planned 10 months
in advance by top leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, BJP and VHP and
raised questions over the way the then Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao, had
handled the issue. Dhar claimed that he was directed to arrange the coverage
of a key meeting of the BJP/Sangh Parivar and that the meeting ''proved beyond
doubt that they (RSS, BJP, VHP) had drawn up the blueprint of the Hindutva
assault in the coming months and choreographed the 'pralaya nritya' (dance of
destruction) at Ayodhya in December 1992. The RSS, BJP, VHP and the Bajrang
Dal leaders present in the meeting amply agreed to work in a well-orchestrated
manner.'' Claiming that the tapes of the meeting were personally handed over
by him to his boss, he asserts that he has no doubts that his boss had shared
the contents with the then PM Narasimha Rao who had been made the PM on some
mysterious agreement including removal of Babri Mosque, and the Home Minister
(S B Chavan) who was among the first to worship the idols pushed into the
Babri Mosque. The author claimed that there was silent agreement that Ayodhya
offered ''a unique opportunity to take the Hindutva wave to the peak for
deriving political benefit.''
In April 2014, a sting operation by Cobrapost claimed that the demolition was
not an act of frenzied mobs but an act of state sabotage planned with so much
secrecy that no government agency got wind of it. It further said that the
sabotage was planned several months in advance by Vishva Hindu Parishad and
Shiv Sena, but not jointly. The documentary Ram ke Naam by Anand Patwardhan,
also examines the events preceding the demolition.
Destruction of Islamic Babri mosque is
considered by both Congress party and BJP as India's major achievement after
freedom from Great Britain.
Observations
Interestingly, Congress-BJP duo and their media lords projected the ghastly
destruction of Babri Mosque by militant and criminal elements of Hindus as a
collective act of all Hindus in India and abroad so that Hindus do not oppose
the demolition of the Mosque or punishment of Hindu criminals. Cunning ruling
fellows.
When an individual
feels inferiority complex before someone else for their qualities or
achievements, one can understand that hollowness but when a nation or
government itself feels inferior to minorities- that is puzzlingly madness.
India suffers from inferiority problem before the Muslims.
India pulled down the Babri Mosque as a way of insulting its neighbor and
nuclear foe Pakistan as it wants to show to Islamabad that it can deal with
Muslims and their Mosques the way RSS wants. Indian media spread rumors as per
Indian government instructions and negative reporting about Pakistan and this
helps the government to reduce the importance of investigations about Babri
Mosque destruction, the necessity of punishing the Hindu criminals.
Unfortunately, Indian judges and
judiciary are vulnerable to media mischief and state interference in delaying
the judgment and punishing the guilty Hindus and politicians involved in the
ghastly destruction and murder of Muslims.
Hindus ruler san leaders suffer from
inferiority complex before Islami couture and their religion and faith. Upon
independence, Indian Hindu rulers and leaders want to settle all issues one by
one. Muslim mosques and Islamic architecture, especially the charm of Taj
Mahal have cause sleepless nights and the nightmare has been too tough for
them to overcome, and hence destruction of Babri Mosque Hindus occupy several
mosque across the nation, importantly in Karnataka.
The Congress party under whose government the Babri Mosque was pulled down in
1992 shamelessly by Hindu militants, is now in the opposition while,
interestingly, the BJP and Hindutva outfits, used by the Congress government
as the useful tool to dismantle the Babri Mosque is the ruling party of India.
BJP regime can control and force the judiciary to deliver the judgment as
written by the RSS.
IHR, a central government a organization obviously helps the government and
Hindus in somehow proving that there was a structure under the historic Babri
Mosque. When the judges cooperate with Hindutva forces and state organs,
Survey cannot be expected to behave differently.
Unfortunately for Islam, most of Indian Muslims work for their Hindu masters
as a party member and vote bank provider on b payment basis. For these
Muslims, their Hindu political master and their parties are more sacred than
Islam and mosque. They are made to behave secularists by Hindu leaders who
refuse to be secular themselves. Hindu leaders and even parties pay money to
mosques to work for their parties.
Hindu judges who want to insult Islam
have used the anti-Islamic ''researches'' as evidence to prove their point
against Babur and Indian Muslims. Indian government wants to showcase eit
prowess to minority Muslims and neighboring Pakistan that it is powerful
enough to deal with Muslims.
Time is overdue for Indian government and the opposition to decide to fulfill
the pledge given to the world to rebuild and hand over to Muslims the Historic
Babri Mosque at the site where it stood for centuries as a witness to changing
political colors of India and society.
Muslims are indeed powerless to oppose the joint conspiracy against them
jointly by Indian rulers and their allies in media, intelligence, police and
military and they only expect the judiciary to deliver justice to them by
asking the government to hand over a newly built Babri mosque in the same
shape at Ayodhya where it originally stood before it was removed by Indian
fanatic Hindu militants.
Indian media lords working very closely with the government agencies and
intelligence, have very tactfully converted most Muslims, who are now heavily
politicized to consider the political parties more important than Islam or
Mosques and thus support the Hindu parties, into thinking for their Hindu
bosses and their anti-Islamic interests.
Unlike Hindu or other religions, Muslims do not have a truly national or
international leader to take up their causes sincerely keeping in view the
demands of Islamic faith mainly because Indian regime does not want a truly
national Muslim leader and cripples all moves by educate Muslims to have their
own leaders to protect their genuine interests. Now Hindutva leaders have the
reign in New Delhi can do Antung they like in the absence any support from
intentional organizations or leaders.
One fondly hopes, the historic Babri Mosque will be back in Ayodhya by next
year this time around and a new epic novel Post-Ramayana would be written
later on the unity of Hindus and Muslims and a new Indian nationhood without
fanaticism and communal hatred. There world would see a blossoming secular
India where each religion would be free to follow their own religious customs
and codes.
Rebuilding Babri
Mosque means rebuilding faith in the Indian system and judiciary and
government. That would also end Hindutva fanaticism once for all.
Muslims and democratic-secular nations expect the Indian Apex Court where the
case is pending for too long to help the government in rebuilding the Babri
Mosque at the site even in another name if Hindutva forces so desire, so that
Muslims get proper justice and Indians, both Hindus and Muslims, among others,
live together for establishing a truly democratic and truly secular India.
