Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said here Tuesday
that the White House rulers are now the most hated rulers and policy
makers on earth.
"The world domineering powers' rulers, i.e. the White House
officials, have now turned into the most resented rulers and policy
makers worldwide and the `death to the USA' slogan, which was once
coined and chanted by the Iranian nation, has now spread to other
nations too," said the Supreme Leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remark in an address at a ceremony
marking the `Woman Day', to mark the birth anniversary of Hazrat
Fatima (SA), the noble daughter of holy prophet of Islam Hazrat
Muhammad (PBUH).
The Supreme Leader said attack on Islam and holy prophet of Islam is
a sign of Islam's double influence and attraction and the West's
horror and failure.
The tendency towards message of Islam and of Ahl-ul-Bait, noble
household of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is now tangible and obvious
and due to the same reason, rulers of the West's materialistic
powers have become embarrassed and desperate, he added.
The Supreme Leader declared that Iran's Islamic Revolution has
proved to be invincible in the face of all failed attempts targeting
it.
All efforts and plots to sway the Islamic Revolution from its path
has failed and it will under God's grace become so in the future
either, said Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Supreme Leader added that solidarity and unity are the key to
country's success.
Ayatollah Khamenei also congratulated the audience on the birth
anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and 'Women Day', calling on the
public to follow her glorious path.
Iranians Will Cut Off Any Aggressive Hands
Iranians would cut off any aggressive hands stretched towards the
country, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday.
He made the remark in a special ceremony held on the occasion of the
Mother's Day marking the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh
Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon
Him). The day fell on June 23 this year.
Addressing enemies of Iran, the president said, "Although you have
succeeded in the past in taking over part of the Iranian soil and
then were forced by the Iranian nation to give it back, now Iranians
will cut off any hands stretched towards the country before they
(enemies) find any time to put their plan in action." President
Ahmadinejad referred to the key role of Iranian women in growing up
brave generations who would defend the country at any time.
EU proposals under consideration
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on
Monday that Iran and EU have made proposals on resumption of talks
which are under study.
He made the remarks while addressing domestic and foreign reporters
during his weekly press briefing.
As to the recent visit to Tehran of the EU foreign policy chief,
Javier Solana and the package of incentives from the Group 5+1 to
Iran, he said several proposals suggested by the EU are in need of
more consideration.
Tehran will consider the proposals and will announce its views at an
appropriate time, he added.
On Iran's package of proposals, Hosseini said Mr Solana reiterated
that there were common views in the two packages. |
