ICU Official - We Shall Take Over the Security of the Beledweyn Town

Beledweyn — The former Islamic Courts Union in Beledweyn town have said on Friday that they will take over the security of the town in Hiran region.
Mo'allin Aden Abdisalan, head of the population of the ICU for the urging affairs had held press conference in Beledweyn town in central Somalia and talked more on plans they want take over whole of the security in the region.
"We have prepared forces who will completely work the security of the region. The troops are in the police station and the central prison (Gal shire) in Beledweyn town," Mo'allin Aden said.
He said that the forces they prepared for the security will operate in Beledweyn town and whole the region quickly.
"The following days we shall form an Islamic court to sentence the criminals. So we requesting from the people in the region to point us those who commit the insecurity situations in the town," the ICU official said.
There have been meetings between the parts of the population in Beledweyn town and the officials of the ICU led by Sheik Abdirahman Ibrahim Ma'ow who announced recently they had spitted from the transitional government administration in the Hiran region in central Somalia.
Lastly the ICU officials called for the people in Hiran region to work with the Islamic Courts Union administration.
Heavy Fighting Kills Two, Wounds 5 in Mogadishu
Mogadishu — At least two people have been killed and 5 others have been wounded after heavy fighting between the transitional government soldiers backing by AMISOM troops and Islamist fighters started at Makka Al-mukarama street in Mogadishu, witnesses told local jounalists on Wednesday.
Reports say that mostly the clashes continued at Dabka intersection, a base for the transitional government soldiers and bases of the African Union troops around Makka Al-Mukara road in the capital where both sides used heavy weapons during the war.
The clashes between the two sides affected the movement of the traffic and people due to the bitter shelling which also prompted the business movement of the Bakara market to be closed down.
Now the situation returned normal as the clashes halted.
The shelling and fighting between the transitional government soldiers with AMISOM troops and the Islamist forces follows a string of clashes continued in Mogadishu since the beginning of the Holy Ramadan month.
