Zionist News Plot To Transform
Palestinians Into Beggars: Attacking
Mosques, Closure Of Charities |

July 9, 2008
MP Mushir Al-Masri, secretary of the change and reform
parliamentary bloc, has charged that the Israeli occupation
authority's closure of charitable societies in the West Bank
aimed at converting Palestinians into a nation of beggars.
Masri, addressing a massive rally organized by Hamas in Jabalia
refugee camp north of Gaza on Tuesday evening, said that the
campaign wants the people to beg official institutions for money
that would only provide such money to serve Zio-American
agendas.
"The enemy today is fighting orphans, widows and the poor in
their sustenance through closing charities in the West Bank and
targeting sports clubs, medical centers and shops in a fresh
crime to be added in this enemy's records," he elaborated.
The Hamas leader told the IOA that its attempt to weaken Hamas
through fighting orphans, the poor and the needy and through
confiscating and closing down charitable societies is a
desperate attempt that is doomed to failure. "If you (IOA)
believe that such practices will weaken Hamas Movement's
infrastructure then you are in a big illusion because Hamas is
too big to be broken (in this way)," he elaborated.
The rally, which was attended by Hamas leaders in northern Gaza,
MPs and a large number of people, denounced the Zionist campaign
against charities that serve the poor and needy families in the
West Bank.
Hamas deplores Israel and PA for targeting
private and public services in WB
The Hamas Movement strongly denounced Tuesday the fierce
campaigns waged jointly by the IOF troops and the PA security
apparatuses against the Palestinian citizens which targeted
their means of livelihood and private and public services in the
West Bank, describing the situation there as extremely serious.
Hamas considered the raids on medical centers, charities, clubs,
shopping malls, stores and other service institutions in the
Nablus city a serious and clear indication that the Israeli
occupation is persistent in harming the Palestinian people under
many flimsy and silly pretexts.
Hamas questioned the position of the PA negotiators towards the
IOF troops' assaults that happened today on civil and public
places and their closure of many buildings including a shopping
mall in the West Bank, saying that the PA silence towards such
acts proves to the Palestinian citizen that there are
complementary roles between the PA leadership and Israel aimed
at weakening the Palestinian community and pushing it into
begging aid from PA-affiliated channels.
Hamas called on human rights organizations and media outlets to
go to Nablus to expose to the local and international public
opinion the level of criminality which targeted private and
public property. |
