Kataaib one of the few official websites of the Islamic
Courts Union said that the Al-Shabaab unit of Somali
Mujahideen was took over the police station of the Ridaa
troops in Kaaraan, and took trohy.
While getting assistance from Allah(sw) the Mujahideen of
Al-Shabaab started a strong attack on different stations
belonging to the apostate troops in the district of Kaaraan,
Somali this night at maqrib time.
The Mujahideen attacked the stations from different sides,
starting the battle by the attack on a road block in the
district of Haliime Hiite guarded by the apostate troops.
They killed one soldier while the rest run away.
After that the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab then headed towards
the police station of the Ridaa government in Kaaraan. They
entered the station with force by the grace of Allah(sw) and
they killed some soldiers inside the station.
Then after that the Mujahideen soldiers entered the house of
the representative of the apostate administration in that
area, but he managed to un away from his house after the
brave Mujahideen liberated that district from the dogs of
the Tigre who have sold their religion.
The Umara of the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab have informed that
at least 5 of the Ridaa soldiers were killed and different
types of guns such as light weapons and a Tikniko vehicle
were taken as booty from the apostate soldiers.
Al-Shabaab Mujahideen attacks stadium
Meanwhile, Kataaib reports that the Al-Shabaab unit attacked
the football stadium with a new type of mortars.
The rocket unit of the Mujahideen of Al-Shabaab targeted the
Football stadium which has become a camp for the Tigre enemy
who have transgressed against our Religion and our land,
with a number of new modern type of mortars.
Spokesman for the Mujahideen have reported 120 mm mortars
have been used in the attack.
The Mujahideen of Al-shabaab have started using a new type
of mortars against the Tigre enemy, which are different from
those used earlier and this is the second time the
Mujahideen are using these mortars.
This attack was very strong and it's expected that the enemy
suffered enormous casualties, because all the mortars were
targeted on one specific position inside the Mogadishu
football stadium.ICU Success Continues
The Islamic Courts Union (ICU) have recorded a number of
gains in recent weeks as they takes control of several towns
in Somalia, including the provincial town of Jawhar, among
many towns and cities the Islamist resistance group ICU have
taken over in the last two months.
The union briefly seize towns as a tactic to show their
strength, to prove their presence, and to stretch
Ethiopian-Somali troops. An now they are invited back by the
local population to defend them from Ethiopia’s brutal
invasion and lawlessness of the interim regime.
A score of US-Israeli backed Ethiopian invaders and their
sell-out Somali traitors soldiers have lost their lives in
the ongoing ‘Operation Defending The Somalis’ ODS of the
increasingly powerful resistance fighters of the Islamic
Courts Union.
Success of Islamist-led resistance was made possible by a
relentless heroic campaigns against the Somali interim
government and its Ethiopian military backers since January
2007, when Mogadishu's Islamic Courts leaders withdrew from
the capital for a tact that has proven effective, dragging
the Ethiopian invaders and regime traitors government into
street-by-street battles. |
