The Abundant Blessings Of Allah And His Love In Ramadan

Everyone knows even the non-Muslims all over the World are fully aware that time of fasting in the Month of Ramadan is the best time for Muslims to dedicate their entire effort towards the( Ibadah) worship of Allah and other activities that would bring them closer to their Creator.

The first ten days of the Months brings His Mercy and the Second ten days Allah’s forgiveness is due and the last ten days Allah with His Infinite Mercy would save them from the Fire of Hell.

After completing Ramadan those who participated in this act of Ibadah would be given abundant reward like the Price Giving day.

The actual benefits and purpose of fasting as we are all aware is to inculcate piety in ourselves known as Taqwa leading to the love of Allah and His obedience.

This is why it is related in Hadith that all actions of the Son of Adam is meant for him except fasting which is exclusively meant for (ME) Allah as reported in Hadisil Qudsi .

So no one knows even the Angels do not have the scale for measuring the reward of those keeping fast as it is Only Allah that will reward them.

It is the Month of spiritual competition not the material type as seen we are now fully saturated. There are three types of fasting one is known as Siyamul Umum the general type observed by each and every one which stops a person from eating and drinking and having sexual relation. This is the commonest and the lowest grade of fasting and another is Siyamul Khawas which is for the special or chosen people.

In addition to observing what the general people observe they also make all their limbs fast i.e. stopping them from backbiting engage in useless talks and seeing Haram the forbidden things.

The highest grade of fasting is for the Khaasatil Khawas the selected of the selected which could be equated as the first Class type of fasting.

No doubts those who reach this stage would never think of anything or anybody in their mind except their Creator Allah remembering His abundant Blessings especially in the Month of Ramadan.

Think of the bounties that Allah has kept for faithful servants that no eye has ever seen nor ear has ever heard and no human mind could comprehend which is in Paradise.

Almost each and every person is sacred of death the only inevitable not knowing what he/she will meet in the Hereafter.

This reminds us of the Hadith which the Prophet is reported to have said a person observing fasting enjoys two joys at the time of breaking his fast and the time he/she will meet His Creator.

Therefore those keeping fast of Ramadan should avoid useless things such as telling lies backbiting that would endanger their fast rendering it null and void.

We should endeavour to turn our attention towards pleasing Allah especially at this limited time so as to earn His pleasure leading to His Love.

The Prophet used to make famous dua Supplication for the love of Allah in this manner. “

O Allah make your love to be more beloved to me than my own self, my family and from the cold water.

O Allah make your love the most beloved thing to me from all others, and let my fear for you be the most fearful thing to from all others.

Free me from the necessities of this world with enthusiasm in meeting with you. When the eyes of the worldly people are cooled by the sight of the world then make my eyes be cooled by your worship.

O Allah let me fear you as though I see you continuously till I meet you.

O Allah I ask of you such faith which enlightens my heart and true uncompromising (Yakeen) that enables me to ensure that nothing will afflict me except that which Thou have written and only that much livelihood will be received by me as Thou apportioned me.

O Allah I ask you tawfeeq (to do good actions) truthfulness as well as trust relying solely upon you having good thoughts about (only) You (and no one else).

O Allah I seek of You the Naffs (heart) that is at rest (contented) and that I have faith in meeting with You and that I am pleased with Your Decree and that I am content with you favours.

O Allah open my heart for your remembrance. You are Merciful, have Mercy Upon me the kind of Mercy which renders me independent of others’ mercies.

O Allah I ask you a heart that is humble and repentant in your path.

O Allah! Make the whispers of my heart to be Your fear and Your Remembrance and make my desires and aspirations to be in conformity with your pleasure.”

We pray to Allah to accept our Ibadah and we become the means of turning others towards His pleasure so they can also enjoy His Infinite bounties which is beyond our imaginations.

The limitless bounties which included a night known as Lailatul Qadar is better than One Thousand Months which comes in every Ramadan and would continue till the Day of Judgement.

Therefore the only thing we can say is that if the sea were (to become) ink for writing the Words of our Rabb ( Sustainer) surely the sea would be exhausted before the Words finish even if we brought (another) like it for its aids.

So we should not be deceived or carried away by the enjoyment and charms of this world as it is only a temporary and the Hereafter is the Everlasting abode which we must all be prepared to enjoy permanently.

This is the best time to access these bounties during the Blessed Month of Ramadan the Month of Competition gaining the pleasure of Allah before it winds up.

We are not sure whether we will see the next Ramadan as no one has the guarantee to this effect.
