Copts

Alexandria
08 January 2011By Markaz Kavkaz
According to media reports, an explosion went off
in front of a Coptic Christian church in the northern
Egyptian port city of Alexandria on the "new year's
eve" on Jan. 1, 2011, resulting in elimination of
about 20 and injuries of about 80 Coptic Christians
and police officers protecting them.
According to local police, a car bomb was blown up in
front of the Coptic Church in the Sidi Bishr district
shortly after midnight, when the Copts began leaving
the building after attending a mass.
According to another version of the police, the
explosives were placed under the car.
Shortly after the explosion, crowds of Coptic
Christians attacked a nearby mosque, threw stones at
Muslims and launched an anti-Muslim pogrom.
The Christian mob broke into the mosque and desecrated
the Koran. Only after this, the mob was dispersed by
police.
As previously reported, the notorious head of the
Coptic Church, Pope Shenouda III, holds 2 Muslim women
in a Coptic monastery prison of Ain Shams, where the
monks subject them brutal tortures so that they
renounce Islam.
Copts in Egypt have their own police force. Arms
depots are reportedly stored in Coptic monasteries and
churches.
It is to be recalled that on November 1, 2010,
Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq gave a 48-hour
ultimatum to the head of the Coptic Church of Egypt,
demanding the release of the Muslim women Wafaa
Constantine and Camilia Shehata, and the other
sisters, who converted to Islam, but suffered for it
with imprisonment and tortures from the Copts.
The War Department of the ISI made an official
statement on Nov. 3. The statement indicated the
expiration of the ultimatum to the head of Coptic
Church of Egypt to releases from the monastery prison
of two Muslim women and their sisters, who were
subjected to brutal tortures by Coptic Christians to
force them to renounce Islam.
The statement said:
"The War Department of the Islamic State of Iraq
states that Christian centers and organizations,
Christian ringleaders and supporters are now
legitimate targets for the Mujahideen everywhere they
can reach them, and let these polytheists, especially
the moronic Vatican, know that a killing sword will
not miss the necks of their supporters, even though
they are not guilty of acts of this dog, the Egyptian
church ringleader".
