Egyptian political groups, who position themselves as opposition, mandated Mohamed ElBaradei to negotiate to form" a government of national unity". This was stated by ElBaradei who appeared among protesters in central Cairo.

"I have been authorized -- mandated -- by the people who organized these demonstrations and many other parties to agree on (forming) a national unity government, - ElBaradei said. - I hope that I could be soon in touch with the army, and we need to work together".

"I was mandated to take this path by revolted people", ElBaradei said at a rally on Cairo's Tahrir Square.  

The former head of the global government's "International Atomic Energy Agency" is heading opposition forces and demands an immediate resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. Excerpts from his speech before a crowd of thousands people were shown by TV channel Al-Arabiya. "No going back, today we have entered a new period in Egyptian history", ElBaradei claims.

A 68-year-old globalist "Nobel prize" winner urged President Hosni Mubarak "not to interfere with the will of the people, not to use force against protesters and to cede power."

Earlier, replying a question if he would head a transitional government, the former head of the IAEA said that anyone who really believes in Holy Democracy, could become a candidate, but "the choice would remain with the people".  

He also replied to concerns that the largest organization in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, which is considered by World Democracy to be pro-Islamic, and which is officially banned since 1954, can seize power in Egypt, saying that it was a "senseless fear".

"The Muslim Brotherhood is a conservative religious group, like Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem and Evangelists in the United States. They are a minority in Egypt and do not have power to undermine our constitution, which guarantees a civil government to lead the country", announced ElBaradei.  

Commenting on media reports about his house arrest, ElBaradei said he did not notice large police presence around his home.  

"I think they announced my arrest to intimidate protesters. The essence of the message is: if we have taken prisoner such a famous person as ElBaradei, imagine what we would do it you", said ElBaradei rising his status.

As previously reported, the arrival of ElBaradei to Egypt against the background of general protests is seen as an attempt by the U.S. to take pre-emptive actions to transfer power from one of its puppets, Mubarak, to another one - this time ElBaradei. Thus, a new U.S. favorite should play a role of a "true Democrat", as opposed to an "open Dictator" Mubarak.
