Good Islamic Ethics, The Sign Of The Sacred Azm (Determination) Of Mujahideen
02 August 2015By Al-Ikhwah Al-Mujahidun
It was due to the blessings of the good behaviors of the Companions of the
Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the rays of Tawheed and Shahada (basic
tenets of Islam) reached vast parts of the world in a very short span of
time. During the thirty years reign of the Companions of the Holy Prophet
(peace be upon him), the Roman and Persian empires were conquered. Borders of
the Islamic Caliphate reached India and China in the east and Africa and
Morocco in the west. Due to the clemency, grace, tolerance, compassionate
attitude and good behaviors of Mujahideen with local people a great number of
inhabitants embraced Islam willingly.
The glory of Mujahid is that he constantly follows the commandments of Allah,
the Almighty. His every movement is for the sake of Allah, the Almighty and
he seeks His pleasure in every action. He desires the glory of Islam by
giving sacrifices of life and wealth. He relies and trusts in Allah, the
Almighty and fears Him only; adheres to the commandments and avoids
prohibitions of Allah, the Almighty; he attributes success and victories to
Him, the Almighty; prays and remembers Allah, the Almighty and asks Allah,
the Almighty in time of need.
The bond between the legitimate Amir and a Mujahid are based on honesty,
trust and obedience. He obeys his Amir as per Shariah law, sincerely performs
his duties, does not defy the order of his Amir, does not deceive his Amir
and always tells the truth.
The behavior of Mujahideen with his friends and common Muslims are also based
on leniency, forgiveness, dedication and humility.
Following Verses of the Holy Quran are the guidelines which show the
beautiful ethics of Mujahideen.
أذلة على المؤمنين
Humble towards the believers… (Verse 54, Surah 5)
رحماء بينهم
Merciful to one another..(Verse 29, Surah 48)
ويؤثرون على أنفسهم
Prefer them above themselves ….(Verse 9, Surah 59)
Humility, compassion, dedication are the attributes which have been mentioned
in the Holy Quran regarding Mujahideen. Arrogance, conceit and inhumane
conduct are not the qualities of a Mujahid.
One of the most important qualities of a Mujahid is justice. Mujahid
maintains justice under every circumstances because the consequence of
oppression is destruction. Oppression eliminates the grandeur and splendor of
Jihad and stamps out the awe of Mujahideen.
Sometimes the opposition deliberately perpetrates actions aimed at provoking
the wrath of Mujahideen and expects similar reaction from Mujahideen.
Furthermore, they seek to find proofs against Mujahideen indicating
Mujahideen's encroachment of Sharia law. Thus, by taking advantage from the
opportunity they want to use this proof for propaganda against Islam and
Muslims and debase Mujahideen.
Some officials of the two-headed Kabul Administration have time and again
expressed their wicked assertions regarding the Mujahideen of Islamic
Emirate. They have given a free hand to their unscrupulous men committing
atrocities and have sanctioned the killing of prisoners because they are in a
moribund state, have lost their morale and want to provoke the emotions of
Mujahideen.
As the prime objective of the holy Jihad is the sovereignty of the country
and establishment of an Islamic system based on justice in an atmosphere of
complete independence, and since, establishment of an Islamic Shariah and
implementation of Islamic justice are the basic objectives of Mujahideen and
Afghan nation, therefore, a Mujahid who struggles for the pleasure of Allah,
the Almighty and for the above mentioned Holy objectives should never forget
the following commandments of Allah, the Almighty.
اعدلوا هو اقرب للتقوى
Be just: that is nearer to piety..(Verse 8, Surah 5)
He pays keen attention to this verse of the Holy Quran.
وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَىٰ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا
Do not allow your hatred for other men, turn you away from justice, Be just:
that is nearer to piety…(Verse 8, Surah 5)
And in response of the actions of every tyrant, he only implements justice.
Nothing else.
