Afghanistan Continues To Be A Dangerous Place
08 January 2016By Al-Ikhwah Al-Mujahidun
The Islamic Emirate's recent attacks in Kabul and around the country have
shown that the Mujahideen can still effectively target the foreign occupiers
whenever they want. After the attacks in Kabul the American occupiers faced
yet another tragedy in Helmand province.
The American's officially announced an end to their combat role in Afghanistan
more than a year ago. Yet on the ground the war is still very much raging on.
American occupying forces continue to raid Afghan homes in various parts of
the country and violate the sensibilities of our people.
Two weeks ago, American Special Forces arrived at Marjah's Chur Charahi area
to assist the embattled Kabul regime forces. They attacked the Mujahideen
positions through air strikes and artillery bombardment. After that the
Mujahideen forces ferociously counter-attacked their positions, causing
casualties within the foreign ranks. At that point an American helicopter
arrived to help the ground troops but it came under heavy fire – and its
efforts to scramble up from the ground – the helicopter came in contact with a
wall and crashed. This incident caused heavy losses amongst the passengers
inside.
After this incident reports arrived that the American forces had evacuated
Marjah district and left the Kabul forces to their plight.
The recent casualties amongst America's elite forces had a profound impact on
that nation. The Daily Beast published a scathing article titled ''Afghan War
Returns to Blood and Shadows''. The subheading read ''The death of a U.S.
service member and injuries to two more are shrouded in mystery''. The article
went on its criticism and even accused the Pentagon of refusing to explain
their mission in an increasingly secretive conflict.
The White House's spokesperson – Josh Ernest – addressed the recent American
casualties by stating that ''Afghanistan continues to be a dangerous place''.
The spokesman tried to justify the recent casualties by arguing that the
American forces had to continue to put their lives at risk in Afghanistan in
order to protect America's security at home. Yet he failed to elaborate how
the conflict in Afghanistan has made America safer.
To this day no Afghan has gone to that country to carry out attacks nor have
they killed any Americans outside of Afghanistan. If Afghans have killed any
Americans it is only those that came to our country and tried to colonize our
nation. Even the White House will have to admit that Afghans only to continue
to fight the American's as long as they occupy our country. The moment they
leave our sacred land, we will bid them farewell by saying ''good riddance''.
