Remarks By Spokesman of Islamic Emirate Concerning Claims About Surrender of Mujahideen in Darah Suf and Reduction in Operations

The US chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who made a surprise visit to Kabul on July 17th and promptly left claimed in the media that there has been a reduction in Mujahideen operation in Afghanistan since the month of Ramadan and that capabilities of the stooge regime forces have significantly increased.

Similarly the enemy made false claims about the surrender of 120 Mujahideen in Darah Suf district of Samangan district.

Since the month of Ramadan arrived in the hottest season this year and since most areas of our operations have hot climate therefore the Mujahideen did not wish to continue the offensive nature of their operation so to hold their fasts in a proper manner and breaking the fast would have had an adverse psychological impact on the Mujahideen.

However the commander of the American invading forces along with lackeys of the Kabul regime misread the situation and thought that the Mujahideen have been weakened or they are facing difficulties due to the change in leadership.

The reality is that the leader of the Islamic Emirate does not partake in face to face combat and his change does not affect the fronts because the Mujahideen, their command centers, officials and fighters are the same as before and they shall continue their obligation and Jihad against the invading and hireling enemy with the same determination.

The enemy should not become optimistic about their might, not misuse opportunities and not be overconfident about its own capabilities.

All praise is due to Allah, our operations have once again been launched throughout the country following the month of Ramadan and subsequent Eid holidays. Only yesterday (July 18th) Mujahideen managed to capture the district centers, bases, check posts and large areas of 3 districts.

Furthermore the claims by enemy about the surrender of 120 Mujahideen in Darah Suf district of Samangan province are also fabrications. Not even a single Mujahid has surrendered to the enemy in the aforementioned district and neither should the enemy ever expect surrender by real Mujahideen.

The cowardly enemy frequently manufactures fake processes where their own Arbaki militia are depicted as surrendering in order to extract money and other concessions from higher ranking officials.
